Scope and Objectives
The International Symposium on Design of Steel & Composite Structures in accordance with Eurocodes is organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, The University of Hong Kong. Several prominent overseas and local academics and researchers in the field of steel and composite structures are invited to share their experiences with engineers and architects from various government departments, consultant firms and construction companies. These prominent experts are coming from UK, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Mainland China. Practical experiences on design of steel and composite structures as well as design examples in accordance with Eurocodes will be presented. The International Symposium also provides an opportunity for engineers and architects to learn the latest development and new technology in the field of steel and composite structures.

Official Language
The official language of the International Symposium is English for both oral presentation and lecture notes.

Registration fees
HK$1,850 per person. This registration fee includes a buffet lunch and coffee/tea refreshments at the Cordis Hotel as well as symposium bag, lecture notes and CPD certificate.
