Joint Structural Division Special Awards 2007

The Joint Structural Division Special Awards aims to promote excellence in structural engineering demonstrated through the design and construction of buildings and structures in the last few years. The first award was held in 1998/1999 and this is the ninth event. Following a site visit on 30 March 2007 by the Judging Panel, three awards were decided based on the following assessment criteria: aesthetics, engineering approach, integration, economy, innovation, buildability, unique features, sustainability and serviceability.
